The Product The Specs
Modernist design from 1958 Cushioned headrest Matching EA125 Lounge Chair Stool About the EA124 Lounge Chair The intelligent design of the EA 124 Lounge Chair delivers an extremely relaxing seating experience. The sleek modernist style features lightly padded leather stretched across a lightweight aluminium frame to create a supportive but flexible seat. Ergonomically angled for maximum comfort, the chair has the added benefit of a cushioned headrest. For ease of movement, the chair can be swiveled and tilted. The seat itself is made from Italian aniline leather, which is designed to improve with age. It is available in six colours - black, brown, dark brown, red, white and cream. The story behind the EA 124 Lounge Chair The EA 124 is part of the Aluminium Group, one of the greatest furniture collections in the 20th century. Each piece in the collection is cleverly constructed from an aluminium frame combined with a high quality material, such as leather or mesh. The chairs are designed to adapt to the body of the sitter and are extremely comfortable, without the need for excessive upholstery. Originally designed for a private residence built by Eero Saarinen and Alexander Girard, the chairs have evolved into international icons showcased in design museums worldwide.
